A Note about COVID19
**Please note: Our requirements have changed. We will NOT be accepting rapid at-home tests as proof of a negative Covid test due to the inaccuracy of these tests and difficulty in determining when/how they were taken. Instead, all attendees will have a rapid test at the door to the venue. There will not be any cost to you for this test. Please allow an extra 15 minutes for this testing before you will be able to enter the venue.
We are committed to providing a safe event for all attendees, and we are monitoring the evolving situation with Omicron very carefully. Based on current infection rates and city and state guidelines, COVID19 testing and vaccination requirements for the conference and after party will now be the following:
Co-founder of Future Ventures and DFJ
Technical research manager @ Stanford Internet Observatory
Executive director @ LongNow
Founder of Ideas Beyond Borders
Executive Director of the Blockchain Association
Andrew Berardini is a writer, editor, and curator from California.
“I would be surprised if 10 years from now we’re not using electronic currency in some way, now that we know a way to do it that won’t inevitably get dumbed down when the trusted third party gets cold feet.”
– Satoshi Nakamoto
We are living in an enlightened age of cryptographic, technological, and social innovation. The blockchain is ushering in a new era of prosperity not unlike the Renaissance. To understand our future, we must examine the past.
What brought about the Renaissance? What were the themes that created such a radically different future? What can we learn that might help us understand the present and tomorrow?
